Honors thesis: Deformed G2 instantons

In my senior year at UMass Amherst, I wrote an undergraduate thesis, which is a requirement of the Commonwealth Honors College. My advisor was Franz Pedit (professor of mathematics at UMass Amherst) and the thesis topic was inspired by a suggestion from Jason Lotay (professor of mathematics at Oxford). The version linked here is not the version that I submitted to the Honors College in May: I have made some changes since then, including adding an appendix and fixing incorrect coefficients in a few equations. I hope to get a future version of this paper published in a journal.
